Why is Deb running?
"I am running because I believe in justice, equity and meeting people where they are. With over 35 years as a trial attorney, having tried over 1,000 juries and bench trials, I am committed to ensuring every individual receives a fair and impartial hearing.

I have spent my career advocating for families, homicide victims, and juvenile clients. I have also worked with the U.S. House Judiciary SSubcommitteeon Constitutional and Civil Rights, deepening my commitment to protecting civil liberties.

As a proud Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Sharon Baptist Church member, I am dedicated to serving my community and uplifting those around me. I've spent three decades mentoring young lawyers and law students and served as a public school teacher, adjunct law professor, and instructor for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, helping shape the future of our legal community.

I am also a member of the Philadelphia Barristers' Association and the National Bar Association's Women Lawyers Division, where I work remote justice and equality for all. As a judge, I will bring my experience, integrity, and commitment to fairness to every case I hear."
